Screencaps: Twenty-Four Hours, Season 3 (2018) - Episode 10
Episode 10 had some fun costumes :) Chinese inspired, but keeping it casual so that the players could move smoothly. Here the guys are awaiting their partners.
The guys were in front of a bunch of "boxes," each of which contained a potential partner (like, the human). They'd choose their partner based on what was written on the outside.
Xiaobai opened his box and saw his partner and was about to cover the hole back up lol.
His partner for this episode was Lin Yun.
For some reason Ziqi was sent somewhere else to meet up with his partner. While walking up the stairs, he was dreaming about which big star he'd be matched up with.
His partner was crouched on the floor of the glass bridge and he couldn't see who she was lol. Anyway, he was matched with Tan Songyun, with whom he'd acted with in My Mr. Mermaid.
And here are the other pairings :3 Shawn was with Ady An, Xiaobai was with Lin Yun, Daxun was with Li Landi, and Yitian was with Meng Jia.
Each pair was assigned to name and take care of their husky. Each time a pair passed a challenge, their husky would gain a level by growing bigger. This is a spoiler, but the pairings changed during the episode and so huskies were re-adopted and for that challenge, some huskies stunted their growth because their pairing did not stay together.
Xiaobai and Lin Yin's dog was called "Maomi." Mao is cat. So they basically gave their dog a cat name.
Ady and Shawn's dog was "Heipi."
Meng Jia and Yitian's dog was "Huangmenji," which is a type of chicken dish.
Landi and Daxun's dog was "Pai'er."
The first challenge involved the following. First, the girl had to climb onto the boy and she had to do a few "circles" while hanging onto him. Then, the guy had to throw/fling her over a high jump bar. Then, they got to choose a costume and they'd have to perform a grand entrance, which audience members would vote for.
Tan Songyun and Xiong Ziqi :3
Xiaobai and Lin Yun were struggling from the get go.
Li Landi told Daxun that this challenge wasn't appropriate for his age group lol.
Lin Yun and Xiaobai ended up with this horse riding pair of costumes.
Meng Jia and Yitian got the school uniforms, which are apt considering Yitian gained fame from a school drama.
Tan Songyun and Ziqi had these historical clothes.
Li Landi and Daxun had an island theme going on. Daxun burst onto the scene singing the wrong song so that was totally on brand.
I don't really know what theme Shawn and Ady had but here they are.
After the challenge, the girls would get a chance to choose their partner for the next challenge. Each guy had a string and the girls would put a tag on the string of the guy that they'd want to partner up with.
Tan Songyun put her tag on the string but it fell half way down and Ady had a laugh.
So it turns out Tan Songyun did not stick with her original partner Xiong Ziqi which was a little awkward for him LOL. She wasn't going to get anywhere with Ziqi and chose Xiaobai. As you can imagine, the drama king wasn't pleased.
Of course these three were having a ball laughing at Ziqi.
Lin Yun chose Xiaobai which was no surprise.
The king of salt had some comments.
The tags went down the string a little fast so Shawn was protected Daxun's head.
Li Landi hadn't secured her tag on the string so it fell off right when she put it on the string. Of course the guys had to tease Daxun about it.
Landi had to reassure him that she'd chosen him.
All puppies gained a level except Tan Songyun and Ziqi's dog X'D
And Yitian and Meng Jia earned the most points for winning the audience-voted event.
The next part of the episode involved doing some challenges around this theme park/area. After completing a challenge, teams could earn name cards that they could put on two wheels. Each name on the good wheel had a chance of earning a clue as to their "identity" in the episode. Each name on the bad wheel had a chance of receiving punishment. So it was in each person's interest to have their name on the good wheel and the names of people they wanted to screw over on the bad wheel.
Here are Xiaobai and Lin Yun trying to peel a fruit with one hand each.
Meng Jia and Yitian had to find Heihei boxes with the words they wanted. The game technically meant for them to drink a full Heihei to reveal the word on the bottom. However, after a few boxes they got fed up (literally?) and they felt the bottoms of the boxes for the words they were looking for instead.
Daxun did a challenge where he had wear a hat with a kite attached to it. The point was to keep running so that the kite wouldn't touch the ground. It didn't go so well and after it started raining so of course Daxun felt forsaken.
Ziqi did the same challenge afterward but he seemed to be having fun.
Tan Songyun was his cheering squad despite their earlier spat XD The bunny ears was cute :3
Xiaobai and Lin Yun did this challenge where Lin Yun had to sit in a chair that was shaped like a top, so it pivoted around a tip. She had to carry a cup without spilling the contents while Xiaobai spun her around 30 times.
Apparently three other teams had failed this challenge before.
Lin Yun cheated by putting her hand and then her skirt over the cup but somehow they were still awarded a win.
High fives from the muddle-headed brothers. At the end of the challenge, the two of them earned a clue that would tell them more about their own identity in the final challenge.

Lin Yun and Tan Songyun were given punishments, so they entered into a hand slapping contest X'D The first to yell/scream would lose.
Ady and Ziqi also had to enter into a hand slapping contest lmao. Upon the lightest tap from Ady, Ziqi screamed lol.
Boy sure loves being dramatic lol. Here he pretended his hand was broken.
The host then said that the players would have a chance to trade partners again. A certain phrase she said triggered Ziqi and Daxun into a karaoke session in the rain lol.
Shawn's like guys I'm freezing can we prioritize.
All pairs changed except for Ady and Shawn, so their puppy grew.
Next was a series of mini challenges. This first one was related to listening. The guys had to try to guess a food based on how it sounded. Of course the whole team couldn't get through this challenge without messing with each other.
Xiaobai said "it doesn't even have a head, how can it be alive?"
And Shawn was like WAT O.O
But first Xiaobai took the opportunity to flick Shawn in the ear a few times (what a brat lol).
After being fed a bunch of clues, Shawn finally guessed squid.
The squad went WOWWWWWW when the box opened to give Ziqi a scare before his turn lol.
Lin Yun was trying to squish it to make some noise but Shawn straight up just pushed the fungus against Ziqi's ear.
As expected, Ziqi screamed X'D
Meanies X)
He got it right though, which is all that matters.
Exaggerated reactions to normal ass food is the norm now.

Daxun guessed sesame right when Tan Songyun threw it against the paper. Also, I need you all to see how Daxun is standing in order to be the same height as Songyun.
Meng Jia first slapped the tofu a few times but Tang Songyun was like "wait let me" and she SQUISHED THE TOFU INTO MUSH WITH HER HANDS.
The smell was pretty strong though so Xiaobai guessed tofu correctly.
Daxun tried to push the fruit jelly against Yitian's ear but he kept avoiding it because it was rather cold.
Anyway, Yitian guess correctly too.
This next mini challenge involved pairs wearing eye masks (lol) and feel things between their faces.
Lol Daxun.
Daxun's face felt tender after his turn.
More funny masks lol.
Xiaobai and Meng Jia stayed a pair so their dog grew. Their dog was Huangmenji but since Xiaobai was the dad now, its name changed to Baizhanji (another chicken dish) XD
Maomi, now Xiong Maomi, is also all grown up now, and Xiaobai was like noooo my child. What goes around comes around? XD
Meanwhile Heipi's grown quite big now and Shawn's like HEIPI HAS A LITTLE HEIPI NOW (i.e. Heipi is so big s/he's had a child).
Okay so in the final challenge, each player had to collect some puzzle pieces that would describe their identity. Out of a total of 10 identities, there were four that were romantic pairings and one that was a friendship pairing. Of course, there was also an item stealing aspect to the game. Players would use beanbags to tap other players' doggos. Once a player attacked another player, they'd get to see their puzzle pieces, to see if any belonged to them.
So for example, Shawn and Lin Yun ended up being Yang Guo and the Little Dragon Maiden from Return of the Condor Heroes.
The friendship pair ended up being Ziqi and Ady, who were Xiaoyu'er and Hua Wuque respectively, from "Juedai Shuangjiao." They were the spies of this episode.
One of Ady's missions was to resurrect Yitian, who'd been eliminated earlier.
Yitian kept asking questions and Ady was like I'll tell you later. Yitian joked that this was one of those "I don't have time to explain, get in the car" situations.
I don't have any more good screenshots from this challenge OTL Anyway, I thought this game was pretty fun. Like most final challenges, it had item stealing, as well as a brainwork aspect, in which each player had to figure out who they were.
