Review: Back to Field Season 6 (向往的生活 第六季) (2022)
Another chill relaxing show. This show was what the kids call healing 🥲 Definitely check this out if you want a fun cottagecore show!
Format
There really is no format. It just follows our hosts and guests as they carry on their regular activities, both work and play. They collect seashells, fish, cook. They clean up the Mushroom house, they clean up the treehouse. But they also go out to sea and hang out by the beach, etc. It’s very relaxing.
Production
No complaints. The production staff do come on screen from time to time but their faces are usually covered except for Xixi. They help with tasks from time to time, hype up the crowd, or help set up jokes.
Episodes
It did give me a lot of joy to watch the hosts and guests live simple lives. They did work, they cleaned up the beach and every day they had to prepare food. But there was always time to relax and enjoy themselves. That’s what life is about, right?
Overall
This season was great. The beach also lent itself to a nice summer vibe.
