Screencaps: Twenty-Four Hours, Season 3 (2018) - Episode 8
Episode 8 only featured the six guys (i.e. the main crew minus Lin Yun).
The crew started the episode by picking a person to protect and a person to attack. This would come into play in the final game of the episode.
Ziqi said he was still waiting for his "first love" (Yitian).
Tol boys and smol big bros.
In this first challenge, the players had to take a candle to various checkpoints in a school building.
Daxun blew out Yitian's candle and Yitian got mad.
Xiaobai was trying to reach a checkpoint that was a bit higher and his candle kept getting blown out by the wind.
Xiaobai went down to relight his candle and came back up.
Daxun, Yitian, and Xiaobai were relighting each other's candles.
Then they pretended they were Olympic torchbearers. Thanks video editing team.
The next challenge was three-on-three soccer with shenanigans. Here are the teams. Xiaozhige sure loves his team.
The first round involved 2 players on each team being in a connected floating tube, and the remaining team member in a one person floating tube. It was very cute.
Xiaobai was drowning in stars.
This next challenge was another "team unity" challenge, where two team members had to predict what the third team member would do in a certain situation.
Shawn vs. Yitian.
Team members trying not to give their mates pressure.
Ziqi said I haven't seen you in so long, you're so handsome.
Lol.
Daxun vs. Xiaobai.
It's revealed that Daxun and Xiaobai had chosen to protect each other. The flower mountain brother bond is strong.
Some more strategizing.
Xiaobai was confused as to what he was supposed to do in his challenge.
Shawn got really excited that Xiaobai did what they thought he would.
Quiet celebration.
Shawn loves his child.
Can't forget to dab.
Yitian and Xiaozhige supervising Daxun and trying to coach him into drawing the right way lol.
Daxun drew Xiaobai, which was wrong because he was supposed to draw someone on HIS OWN team lol.
Yitian was giving Daxun some really obvious clues about who to draw lol. Daxun drew Yitian but the eyes were really small. Ziqi was like WHERE ARE THE EYES YITIAN HAS HUGE EYES DUDE and Yitian was like WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT MY EYES ARE LIKE THIS.
The final challenge was a test tube stealing game, where it was every player for themselves. "Rackets" were hidden around the premises. They were one-time use, and if you hit someone with a racket, then you would steal that many tubes of theirs. The game would end when three players were eliminated.

I didn't get good screenshots of this but Ziqi was being such a good bro giving more tubes to Yitian since he was protecting him in this game.
Xiaobai wanted to eliminate Yitian because Yitian had chosen to attack Daxun, and Xiaobai was to protect Daxun. So Xiaobai asked Yitian how many tubes he had. Yitian said he had three, so Xiaobai whacked him with a "3" racket, only for us to find out that Yitian had more than that.
Xiaobai insisted he didn't have any hate for Yitian, and was only eliminating him for someone else. Yitian refused his handshake lol.
Daxun and Xiaobai discussed Xiaobai trying to eliminate Yitian. Xiaobai said he didn't want to eliminate Yitian (because they're friends and stuff) and Daxun was like but you still hit him with the racket and Xiaobai was like I DID FOR YOU YOU DIMWIT.
Is Ziqi finally getting the love confession he deserves? He gave Yitian some test tubes for his mini challenge.
So the shenanigans that Ziqi and Daxun were involved in was apparently that both of them had chosen to attack their team captains.
Daxun couldn't bear to eliminate his captain. He passed by Shawn a few times and still couldn't do it.
But he took advantage of his next opportunity and eliminated his dear Captain Shawn.
Here Shawn was on the ground and he told Daxun he would forgive him if he jumped down XD
Daxun said he did it all because of Xiaobai and had nothing to do with him.
ONLY FOR XIAOBAI TO BE RIGHT BEHIND HIM.
Friendship broken, bro.
Daxun manhandling Xiaozhige.
Xiaobai joined the fray.
And then Yitian.
Yitian said he would give Xiaozhige two tubes, but he also had two rackets (implying that he would give Xiaozhige two tubes and then steal from him immediately after). Xiaobai found that amusing >3
Xiaozhige said he'd let Yitian have this one but Yitian couldn't bring himself to eliminate his own captain. So Daxun did it for Yitian. But then Xiaozhige revealed that he had ONE MORE.
The kids were acting all remorseful before but Xiaobai's like dude I'm done acting I don't have anything left in the tank.
But in the end, Xiaozhige was hit with the racket again, and the three winners were Xiaobai, Daxun, and Yitian.
Daxun tried to apologize to Shawn, who wasn't having any of it.
Shawn revealed that he'd chosen to protect Xiaobai and to attack Yitian. He specifically said "our family's Xiaobai."
Daxun said AM I NOT IN YOUR FAMILY?? and then the video flashed back to Daxun whacking Shawn in the head with a racket lol.
Shawn said after today, not anymore. So ominous lol.
Shawn said yeah, it's fine, you kids are all grown up now.
Daxun dared to call Shawn "Xiaole" and ran away in fear.
Shawn told Xiaobai that he could follow Daxun ("out of the family") if he wanted to, since his heart had already broken before. (Lol I love this melodrama of the older guys being dads and the younger guys being their sons)
