This was an alright movie. It definitely reminded me of the French movie Amour, which was also about a wife who loses herself to dementia.

I think what was different about this movie was that it focused on Grant, the husband, and how he interpreted his wife's Alzheimer's as a culmination of their relationship.

This is a slow movie with very subtle messages, so I think it would only be enjoyed by someone who was in the mood for this sort of movie.

I think the story of MGS2 left less of an impact on me than the first MGS, but MGS2 really went off with its analyses of the age of information, which was unexpected but not that bad. That being said, the story of MGS2 was still a bit convoluted, and I think it could've worked with a few parts taken out. So overall, good, but I think MGS1 was more interesting and cleaner (i.e. less distractions).

I watched CenterStrain01's walkthrough series here.
