Review: Wuxin: The Monster Killer 2 (無心法師 2) (2017)

This season was disappointing compared to Season 1. What made season 1 special was that it was focused on the folk magic and demon hunting aspects while being set in the early Republican Era. However, Season 2 felt more like a generic Republican era story that just happened to have some folk magic in it. The characters also fell flat.

I'm still going to watch Season 3, but my honest opinion was that Season 2 didn't offer much. The story had little to do with Season 1 so story wise, you wouldn't really be missing much either. But I guess if you're a fan of the series, you might still watch it for completion (like me).
