Review: The Rider (2017)
Saturday, July 3rd, 2021 13:10This was a good movie. I think I understood what the movie was going for. I felt that it was more about the feeling and atmosphere, as the story was very simple.
However, I don't really know much about rodeo culture so I wouldn't say that this movie really hit close for me. I felt for the characters, but the atmosphere was hard for me to connect to so that's why I wouldn't say it's a favourite. But I still liked that this movie kept things simple and that even as a person with a non-rodeo background, I understood Brady as a character.
I'd recommend it as a more contained drama film.
