Review: Confessions (告白) (2010)
Saturday, March 26th, 2022 13:39I'd read Confessions by Kanae Minato a couple of years ago and was incredibly impressed with the book. So I'll be honest, I can't really be objective about this movie because as I watched, I was constantly comparing my feelings to the feelings I had when I'd read the book.
I think that if I'd never read the book, I would have been fascinated by the happenings of the movie. But since I knew what was going to happen, I was just a little discouraged by the fact that the atmosphere didn't feel quite the same.
I'd still recommend the book first over the movie, but I think the movie was still a good thriller.
