Review: The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957)

To be honest, I checked out at the beginning of this movie because I didn't love the heroic themes. However, the film was more interesting as an exploration of politics and other complicated war themes.

That being said, this movie was way too long for the story it was trying to convey. It wanted to be a war epic movie but I saw it as a political movie that could have worked on a smaller scale.
