This was a simple story about a community of animals trying to survive in a suburban/capitalistic economy. I think my favourite part of the movie was probably the script. It was very charming and witty, and flowed very well. I'd definitely recommend this movie as a fun watch that you can even see with the family.

I think there is a lot about this movie that I still don't understand, but I think this is one of those movies that is layered and open to interpretation.

I would recommend this movie, but I actually found it a bit hard to watch because while I didn't like the main character, it was also very tough to see him go through his struggles. I think I would describe this film as haunting and jarring, but worth a watch because of that.

This movie was made for the fans of the anime, as opposed to a standalone movie. The animation was more detailed, but I don't think viewers should expect a story that would rival the original anime.

This movie started off serious, and it became more and more serious. I did appreciate what this movie delivered though. I would describe it as an animated documentary. The structure and story telling of the film was that of a documentary, but it was all drawn instead.

I would recommend it for those who want to see another side of war, to see how war effects humans in more subtle ways. Obviously, this is not the happiest movie, so I'd only recommend it for those who are specifically looking for that kind of content and understanding.
